The Quote Wall

Around halfway through my first semester at college, I started looking at quotes a lot and really started to think about how they relate to my life.  I started a quote wall (it's actually two walls) on my side of my dorm room as a way to get rid of the white brick walls and make the space more inviting.  When I get back I'll be sure to take a picture of it to show you, but for now an explanation will have to do.  

On my desktop I have tons of quotes that I still need to print out.  I love each and every one of them, and I want to share a few with you. Some of them are truly spectacular.

Thank you.  All of you.  No seriously.

When I post really emotional, personal things like last nights on the blog, it's about venting out my frustrations then getting a pity party.  

So when I get sweet tweets, comments, and emails, I am always a bit surprised.

Surprised that people care? Maybe.

That people read this?  Maybe that too.

But, seriously, I love you all.

For taking the time to comment and make me smile.  It meant so much to me today.

I'm over it.  Life moves on.  In all retrospect, prom is one day.  And I feel like people make way too big a deal over one night.  

Moving on!

Today was lovely.  I got a nice massage {little cheer me up gift from my Mama!} and am baking some cupcakes as we speak.

Dace

Dace, an online clothing company, makes some of the most gorgeous and sweet clothes I know.

I just recently found the store, and am waiting for some of my favorites to go on sale {it's a bit expensive}.

I can't wait to see their spring collection- it's sure to be gorgeous!

The video on their site, however, is what has really caught my eye.

Unlike most advertising, it combines gorgeous scenery, soft music, and a simple glow that creates an allure.

Quote to Live By

i've been posting about needing to find a senior quote for awhile

and at the last minute, i have totally found the perfect one.

this applies to me in so many ways.

i truly believe in the phrase "march to the beat of your own drum"

my life philosophy is to let your own happiness only be dictated by what you want.

the quote "let the beauty of what you love be what you do" means to me that you shouldn't live life with regrets.
i have done plenty of things in my life that probably shouldn't make me role model of the year.
but i try to learn from it.
it all happens for a reason.
sometimes i'm not sure what that reason is, but there is one.
i completely believe that.

live for what you love.

if you love it, do it.

if you loved it once, there was a reason you did it.

life is so short.

there's absolutely no reason to not fight for what you believe in.

this year I really learned to grow up.

i learned not to let the tiny things get me down.

i learned not to focus so much on what people think.

and i think that helped me grow a little stronger.

he was rushed to the hospital yesterday.
