Paris, France

Halfway through my summer in London, my mom, sister, and grandma came to visit. I am so lucky that they were able to because I missed them terribly and if I learned anything during my summer abroad it's that I don't think I can move far away from my family.
The weekend that they came we all went to Paris.  I went to Paris my Junior year in high school and it remains my favorite city to this day.  There is something just so magical about the entire city.  I don't know what it is.
No one else had been to Paris, so they went two days before me since I had my internship and they explored some of the tourist sites.  When I came that Friday night, we spent the weekend shopping, eating, eating, eating, and well, eating.

 ^^The view from our hotel room.
 ^^No trip to Paris is complete without Angelina's famous hot chocolate.
 ^^ A rose eclair
 ^^ For some reason, the eiffel tower is my favorite landmark.  Big Ben is a close second.
 ^^It has been my dream to go to the Lock Bridge.  I'm absolutely in love with it.
^^Like I said, this trip was NOT about dieting.

Paris, I Miss You {Image Heavy}

i had the best time in paris.
my favorite part about it (besides the crepes with nutella from the street corners) was the architecture!

here's some of the pictures i took from the trip.
beware, this post is super image heavy!

{yes, the vegetarian tried a snail.  you can't go to France without having ONE!  they were actually tasty}

{the view from the top of the eiffel tower}

{Juniors!}

{angelina's hot chocolate!}

some of the highlights of the trip:
meeting cute french boys
having people think we were from london
having the random man at the eiffel tower take our picture
crepes on the side of the road
getting way to many new room keys because i always lost mine
late night chats in the hallways
running up the 270 stairs of the Arc
trying to speak french (and failing)
coming home and having people tell me it looks like i lost weight because of all the walking we did {when really i ate tons of nutella}
laughing, smiling, and spending time with my friends
i loved it :)

i have some awesome blog things coming up, including the April playlist {i haven't forgotten!}

tomorrow i have something big for all of you!
surprises, surprises!

Paris, I Love You

i'm back i'm back.

can i just say one thing?

Paris was incredible!
all of you blogger friends who twittered/ blog commented/ emailed me and told me how much i would love it were right!
i didn't want to come back!

of course i've eaten/drunk my weight in the most incredible croissants, crepes, hot chocolate and cappachinos!

if you're ever in Paris, make sure to stop by Angelina's.  best.  hot cocoa.  and chocolate croissants.  EVER!

i also learned:
falafels and crepes are best bought at the street carts on the side of the road
metros aren't as scary as they look.  you just have to push your way off.
friday and saturday nights are great for listening to street music.
sunday and monday nights are great for sleeping.  {the city's dead}
everything looks so much greener in Paris!

oh, and don't eat the falafels they give you on the plane.
they will make you very sick on your first day in Paris.
learned that the hard way.
oh well!

i'll do a huge photo-heavy post tomorrow.... i took a ton!

but for now.... here are a few!
