DIY-ing to try

one of my new years "goals" was to try more DIY's that i have found on Pinterest.
i feel like i'm always pinning them, with good intentions, but I never actually have tried any.
here are a few i really want to try soon!

i'm loving the first one so much.  how cute would it be as a pencil holder on a desk?  i also love the fifth one, the best friend mugs.  i'm going to make them for my best friend stephanie i think!
