it's funny how quickly your world can change.
how the best day can become the worst day in a matter of seconds.
how life as you knew it can end in a heartbeat.
how the best day can become the worst day in a matter of seconds.
how life as you knew it can end in a heartbeat.
words can't even begin to describe the pain i'm in.
yesterday i lost an amazing friend.
it was his 19th birthday.
he was the type of person would light up a room. we're all saying the same thing right now: you either loved him or you didn't know him.
he was friends with everyone. i saw him just two days ago when he wandered into my friend kat's room when we were watching tv.
he was the type of person who knew how to cheer you up. his goal was to unite the campus and he seriously did that. it's amazing how the entire campus stopped yesterday. everything was canceled and at 9 PM we had a candlelight vigil for him on our quad.
i'm still in shock and numb from the pain. i can't believe something like this happened.
i don't want to go into details, but it was completely preventable.
dear everett,
i'm so sorry this happened to you. i'm so sorry none of us got there in time to save you. you didn't deserve any of this in the slightest. you were the best person at this school. the amount of people that showed up last night to the vigil was incredible. i've never seen so many people gather for a single person before in one place, but i wasn't surprised. you touched so many people and changed all of our lives for the better. the entire campus is mourning your loss today. none of us will ever be the same.
i'll miss your smile. you had the most amazing smile. you gave some of the best hugs. your laugh was was incredible. you had the kindest heart and i think everyone can agree on that.
it hasn't hit me that i'll never be able to see you again. if i could go back in time and prevent this from happening i would.
i'm so sorry.
you'll be the most amazing angel and i'll never forget you.
