a few weeks back, when i went home for the weekend, my mom and i ventured into the city for a day of shopping and donuts.  it was freezing cold out, but i knew that i would get hot in stores, so instead of a sweater, i ventured for a nice blouse and a grandpa cardigan.  i got the sweater a few years ago and couldn't find a good outfit combination for it, but this is one of my new favorites.  i think it looks put together while still being incredibly comfortable.

any big plans this weekend?  the east coast is about to get hit with a massive snow storm (where i am they're saying we could get a foot! and my best friend in boston could get 2 feet, which is crazy) so i'm laying low and praying the power doesn't go out.  i'm not too nervous about where i am, but i know my hometown (which was devastated by sandy) doesn't need another disaster, so please keep them in your thoughts! have a wonderful weekend! xo
