Style Story Number One

I've never been big into posting my style here.

But lately, I've been taking a few pictures of outfits I've worn.

Granted, because I spend most of my summer in a lifeguard bathing suit and bright red shorts, these style posts will be few and far between, but I figured we could have some fun with it!

last night, the whole family went out to one of our favorite little hole-in-the-wall restaurant.  

think small cafe, simple decor, outstanding food with full flavor.

we go at least once a month, and it's one of our favorites.   

i didn't get any food photos (major fail) but i had:

the house salad which packs roasted red peppers, shaved cheeses, olives, and a light dressing

tempura battered artichokes and zucchini with a creamy balsamic dipping sauce (my mom and I devoured this)

penne norma with eggplant, ricotta, and mozzarella

my grandma said she found this in her drawer and instantly thought of me.

she gave me this ring at dinner last night!

i'm in love with it and how simple, yet elegant it is.

i have no idea where she got it (or the brand).

there we go.  this post isn't as fancy as some fashion bloggers, but then again i'm not a fashion blogger.

i just thought i'd give everyone a glimpse into my closet!

lucky us, because this week is a big week of outings, so more fashion posts to come!
