Pure Bliss

I love sweet little videos that can bring a smile to your day.
Here are a few I've found over the last few weeks.

What do you think?  The second video makes me want to travel to Iceland even that much more.
So far, this week has been lovely.  Yesterday afternoon, as I was floating in my backyard pool reading my book, I looked up at the sky and just realized how happy and peaceful everything is.
Considering all the craziness that will occur upon my arrival back home from Florida at the end of next week {Art showcase, swim banquet, Prom, service days, first day of work, and graduation- and that's just up until the middle of June}, I'm planning to savor these next two weeks of pure bliss.

Today I'm guest posting at Miss Jessica's blog.  She has a lovely blog where she documents her life as a law student, and I'm posting my top yoga poses for strengthening the mind, body and spirit.  Go check it out :)

On Saturday, my parents informed my sister and I of a surprise that is happening tonight.  They knew we wanted to go, and considering it's my sister's Birthday month, they got us tickets for the Lady Gaga concert tonight. I don't go to many Pop music concerts, but I'm incredibly excited to dance all night tonight.
Have a lovely Tuesday! xo

The 10,000 Trees Project

Dscn3890world_large
I found the 10,000 Trees Project recently and I was so inspired with it that I had to share it.
Sarah Ginsburg, one of the founders of the project, is a senior at Emerson College.
Sarah Berkovich is a recent college graduate.
It all started 10 years ago when Sarah B's grandfather, Victor, purchased a plot of land and started planting trees.
He is 85 years old, and is embracing life to prepare to plant his 10,000th tree.
Both Sarah's are planning to create a documentary and need our help.
They need to raise $5,000 to fund the project in the next 24 days.  They are more then half way there!

This story is so inspiring.  As it says on their website, "10,000 Trees makes us ask ourselves what we aim to grow in this lifetime and it’s Victor who gently teaches us that it’s never too late to begin."

It's such an amazing story, one that started with a single man's goal to create a better world, and ended up become the passion of two young girls.

Watch the video to see for yourself

 Amazing right?
Truly a reminder to follow our dreams.

P.S I posted a GIVEAWAY earlier today:)

Valentine's Day

i may be single this Valentine's Day, and it may not be my favorite holiday, but I'm feeling the love this weekend.

i'm one of those people who believe in love.
I believe in forever.
I believe that there is someone out there.
and yes, through my experiences, sometimes i may be cynical about love.
but at the end of the day, deep down inside, i believe in magic.
i believe when you want something enough, it happens
dreams come true
wishes come true

valentine's day isn't just for lovers {although a lot think it is}
it's about all different forms of love.

love for family whose there for you even when you screw up a million times
love for friends who will answer your calls no matter how late, and listen to you vent about something even if you've vented about it a million times before
love for your dog or cat who makes you smile and runs to you every time you walk in the door
love for the person who makes your coffee at the local starbucks every morning
love for the UPS guy who delivers your packages and gives dog treats to your dog
love for the person who smiles at you every morning on your way to work/school

maybe this post is a little corny, but love comes in so many different forms and you can find it in a million different places
