In a Whole New World

i had such an amazing friday night tonight.

after a nice work out after classes, i went to the book store to get some research done for my english paper. i kind of felt like a nerd going on a friday night... but as soon as i got there i got incredibly happy!  something about book stores and chilly nights make everything okay:)

plus, they have a starbucks there, so i grabbed a vanilla latte and peanut butter chocolate cookie and browsed all the amazing books.

i absolutely adore reading.  unfortunately, between work outs and classes and everything else going on, i rarely have time to read for fun.

i have a huge pile of books that are on my to-read list.

and yet every time i go to the bookstore, i end up getting more books.

(sequel to Three Cups of Tea.. which was amazing)

after my book buying, i went over to my swim coaches art gallery night at a local boutique.  it was gorgeous.  the store was so charming with christmas trees and lights and my coach is an incredibly talented artist.

unfortunately, it was a last minute decision to go, so i didn't have my camera and didn't get to take any pictures:(

after, i came home, took a hot shower, and dug into some chinese food while watching the last episode of Glee.

it was such a low-key, relaxing evening and i really enjoyed it.

minus the chinese take-out place giving me pork dumplings instead of vegetable.

that's why i always order way more food the i need :)

tomorrow's weather forecast:  cold. rain. snow.

kinda disrupts plans i had to go out tomorrow night.  looks like i may be staying home in my Pajamas watching Christmas Movies.
